In the other fourth round Rugby Championship match, both sets of winless warriors from Argentina and Australia will be hoping they can rub themselves with more green. The Pumas, of course, are still looking to get their first win in the competition and Ewen McKenzie must be pretty worried and a little flustered if he has dropped Will Genia. We will have to play better than we’ve ever played. We will have to make basically no mistakes and we will have to make sure the ball bounces in our direction.”There is a shared sense of wariness, with outlets in New Zealand carrying quotes from former captain Buck Shelford, who said: “The Boks have improved and are playing a more expansive game, they are strong at the back and up front and like New Zealand are good at building pressure,” before adding the caveat: “but I think we use the ball a bit better than the South Africans, while they have gone back to what they know, which is their forward pack.”Of course something has to give. New Zealand have won six in a row, while South Africa could make it a nice round 10 if they triumph. paul finebaumESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum usually sticks to covering the SEC, but given the turmoil out in Los Angeles this week, he’s broadening his horizons. Tuesday, he commented on USC’s heading coaching situation. He thinks there are two “leading candidates” for the job.Finebaum said that former Oregon coach Chip Kelly, who is now with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL, is one. The other is current Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin. He joined ESPN’s Mike & Mike this morning:On @MikeAndMike, @finebaum just said he believes the two leading candidates for the USC HC job will be Chip Kelly and Kevin Sumlin.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 13, 2015Finebaum expanded on Philadelphia radio station 97.5 Middays later on:On NOW: @finebaum with @975Middays to discuss his claim that Chip is a leading candidate for the USC head coach job.— 975TheFanatic (@975TheFanatic) October 13, 2015Finebaum: Chip Kelly will be high on USC’s list. He may not want the job, but USC is the Pac 10 & has talent, so it may entice him.— 975TheFanatic (@975TheFanatic) October 13, 2015Finebaum on dealing w/ boosters: USC isn’t a job like Alabama. LA is LA. You may have to do lunch w/ Spielberg once in a while but that’s it— 975TheFanatic (@975TheFanatic) October 13, 2015Finebaum: To me it all comes down to what makes Chip Kelly tick. I don’t know what interests him (but USC seems like a fit).— 975TheFanatic (@975TheFanatic) October 13, 2015Finebaum: Chip is the Jon Gruden of five years ago; he is the most coveted coach by colleges.— 975TheFanatic (@975TheFanatic) October 13, 2015Regarding Kelly, we’re obviously a few steps from it even being a possibility. Kelly would have to either coach his way out of his job with the Eagles or make the decision that he wants to return to the college ranks. As for Sumlin, given the momentum the Aggies have right now, it’s hard to see him jumping ship for a job that’s been very unstable recently. That being said, USC is still one of the most desirable jobs in college football. It’ll be interesting to see if Finebaum winds up being right.
Kolkata; Seven Bangladeshi citizens were arrested for carrying over $7 lakh in cash at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport here on Tuesday, allegedly without any supporting document or voucher, officials said. The Bangladeshis were slated to fly off to Dhaka in the same flight from the airport. The officials found the foreign currency worth $7,43,300, equivalent to Rs 5.14 crore, hidden in false bottoms of their bags. All seven were later handed over to the Customs Authority.
